Please note the following corrigendum in the Reasons for Sentence delivered on 24October 2016:-

The following paragraphs to be inserted after paragraph 22.

23.There is a matter of disqualification for this offence. It is a 5-year minimum period of disqualification.

24.I do impose a disqualification order of 5 years from today. That will start to run from today.

25.Your licence will be handed in today, and there is a driving improvement course that must be completed within the last 3 months of the disqualification period at your own cost, otherwise your licence cannot be returned. There are other consequences and details will be handed to you now as an explanation.

26.I repeat that the driving improvement course must be completed in the last 3 months of the 5-year disqualification period.
