1. The 1 st and 2 nd plaintiffs began this action of negligence by writ of summons issued on 10 May 2016. For defendant’s failure to give notice of intention to defend, on 28 Nov 2016, they obtained interlocutory judgment against the defendant for damages to be assessed.
