1. The applicant was charged with two counts of trafficking in a dangerous drug [1] . On 16 July 2018, he was unanimously convicted of both counts after trial before Deputy High Court Judge Bruce (“the judge”) and a jury. The dangerous drug involved was respectively 15.9 grammes of a solid containing 15.1 grammes of cocaine for the 1 st count, and 176.2 grammes of a solid containing 166.2 grammes of cocaine for the 2 nd count.
