1. The applicant was jointly charged with one other with a single count of trafficking in a dangerous drug, namely, 1,309 grammes of a solid containing 549 grammes of cocaine, contrary to section 4(1)(a) and (3) of the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, Cap 134. On 3 August 2016, the applicant and his co-accused (D2) both appeared before DHCJ Lugar-Mawson and both pleaded guilty to the count. On 9 January 2018, the applicant was sentenced by M Poon J (“the judge”) to 14 years and 5 months’ imprisonment
