1. We have two interlocutory appeals before us and they arose in relation to an Admiralty action which was commenced by a Writ issued on the 2nd December 1981. The Plaintiffs were described as "The Owners of Cargo lately laden on board the ship 'ARTEMIS' (the Cargo Owners) and they sued the Artemis Transportation Corporation as the 1st Defendant (Artemis Transportation) and Barber Ship Management Ltd. as the 2nd Defendant ("Barber Ship").
