1. On 24 April 1999 at approximately 1:07 p.m., the Plaintiff then aged 9, a primary 4 student after alighting from a nanny van which picked her up after school, was hit by a dump truck when crossing Sha Tau Kok Road westbound near Hak Pai Chai Tsuen, Fanling, New Territories. As a result of the accident, the Plaintiff suffered from multiple injuries. Her head injury has resulted in bleeding from her right ear and right facial nerve palsy. Orthopaedicwise, the Plaintiff suffers fracture shaft of
