This Appellant was on 22nd March this year sentenced in the Magistrate's Court at Tsuen Wan to 15 months' imprisonment for one offence to which he pleaded guilty, namely remaining in Hong Kong without the authority of the Director of Immigration after having landed here unlawfully. 2. The Appellant now appeals against sentence. Having considered all the circumstances in this case, I consider that the sentence passed is well within the appropriate range and that there is no basis for me to disturb it. The appeal is dismissed.
