1. This is an appeal by the Defendent against the Order of Master Beeson made on the 13th May, 1994 whereby it was ordered that summary judgment be entered for the Plaintiff in the sum of US$9,000.00 or its equivalent in Hong Kong dollars at the time of payment, with interest thereon at the judgment rate from the date of Writ, and costs of the Action. There is also a cross-appeal by the Plaintiff asking for interest from the date of mistaken payment instead of from the date of issue of the Writ.
