This hearing concerned an application by the Defendant to set aside my order dated 16th June 1994 granting leave to the Plaintiff to enforce an arbitration award dated 25th October 1993 of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission ("CIETAC"). The said Award was a Convention award, made under the "old" rules of CIETAC dated 1st January 1989.
