Defendant was at all material times a member of the Gold and Silver Exchange and Kam Ngan Stock Exchange and as such traded for itself or acted as broker in local gold bullions and stocks and shares. In addition it carried on the business of dealer in securities, commodities, foreign currencies and bonds.
