1. There was a guest house at No.12 Yue Man Square, 1st and 2nd floors, Kwun Tong known as Loy Loy Guest House ["the Guest House"]. In the late evening of 5th August 1993 at about 11:00 p.m., a fire broke out which caused the death of three persons inside the Guest House. Chan Kwok Wing was one of the deceased. The Plaintiff is the administratrix of the estate of Chan Kwok Wing ["the Deceased"]. She brings this action on behalf of the estate of the Deceased and for the benefit of his dependants.
