1. The two debtors in these two petitions are sisters. They used to work for the Petitioner. By a document in Chinese dated 28 August 2001, they admitted that they were indebted to the Petitioner in the sum of $700,000.00, being the value of gold materials (allegedly) stolen by them in the course of their employment with the Petitioner. Subsequently statutory demands for the payment of the sum of $700,000.00 were served by the Petitioner on the debtors, who failed to repay the money. Bankruptcy
