CACC520/2005 IN THE HIGH COURT OF THE HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION COURT OF APPEAL CRIMINAL APPEAL NO.520 OF 2005 (ON APPEAL FROM DCCC 809 OF 2005) --------------------- BETWEEN
---------------------- Before : Hon Stuart-Moore VP, Burrell and McMahon JJ in Court Date of Hearing : 3 May 2007 Date of Judgment : 3 May 2007 ------------------------ J U D G M E N T ------------------------ Burrell J (giving the judgment of the Court) : 1.Both appellants were convicted of attempted burglary after trial before Deputy Judge Casewell in the District Court on 12 December 2005. They were sentenced to 30 months’ imprisonment. Leave to appeal against that conviction was granted on 15 June 2006 by the single judge. 2.The appellants have neither appeared in court for their appeal nor are they represented. 3.We have read all the relevant papers and have considered the written grounds of appeal. All the issues in this case were fully and properly dealt with by the judge in his Reasons for Verdict. There is plainly no merit in any of the grounds raised and their appeals are dismissed.
