1. In/about March and April 2005, the Plaintiff was employed by the Defendant as a furniture salesperson. On 11 th April 2005, when the Plaintiff was delivering a stack of 7 chair frames by hand, the chair legs were caught in the gap of the lift door. The Plaintiff had to use great force to pull the chair legs free from the gap and sustained personal injuries (“ Accident ”).
