1. The Defendant restaurant occupies the whole of the 2 nd Floor of a building at Lockhart Road, Wanchai (“ the Restaurant ”). A lift serves the Restaurant exclusively and stops only on the Ground Floor of the building and the Restaurant on the 2 nd Floor. At about 3:30 pm on 21 October 2007, the 72-year-old Plaintiff (“ Cheung ”) has just had her tea at the Restaurant. Upon entering the lift on the 2 nd Floor, she slipped and fell.
