COURT: Defendant, you have cold-bloodedly taken the lives of two women. Under the law of Hong Kong, a person convicted of murder shall be imprisoned for life. I so sentence you accordingly on each of the charges.

Defendant's leave to appeal each conviction to Court of Appeal granted. Appeal allowed and convictions quashed and a retrial ordered. Please refer to CACC189/2010 dated 26 September 2011
