COURT: Yuen Miu-fun, there is only one sentence I can pass on you for the offence of murder in the 1st Count and that is one of life imprisonment, and that is the sentence you therefore receive. I make no further comment.

In relation to Count 2, preventing the lawful burial of a dead body, you are sentenced to four years imprisonment. That, of course, is to be served concurrently, at the same time as the life sentence for murder.

Please refer to CACC279/2010 for the relevant appeal(s) to the Court of Appeal.
