COURT: The accused, I have taken into account everything that has been said on your behalf.
You stand convicted of one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug.
The quantity of drugs involved is 1.13 kilogrammes of a solid containing 0.61 kilogramme of cocaine. The drugs were imported into Hong Kong from Colombia.
All things considered, I adopt a starting point of 20 years, enhance it by 1 year, making a total of 21 years.
Having taken into account everything urged in mitigation on your behalf, there is really no mitigation apart from your plea of guilty, for which I shall give you the full one-third discount, reducing the starting point to one of 14 years.
You will therefore go to prison for 14 years, of which I sentence you.
