COURT: Wong, Jason Bryan, you stand convicted of one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug. The quantity of drugs involved is 0.24 kilogramme of a powder containing 0.18 kilogramme of ketamine.
I have taken into account everything that has been urged in mitigation on your behalf and I have also read the letters written by yourself and your father.
All things considered and being as lenient as I can consistent with my duty, I adopt a starting point of 7 years’ imprisonment. Having taking into account everything urged on your behalf, in particular your plea of guilty, I give you the full one-third discount thereby reducing the starting point to one of 4 years and 8 months.
You are therefore sentenced to 4 years and 8 months’ imprisonment.
