COURT: Accused, I have taken into account everything said on your behalf. You stand convicted of one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug. The quantity of drugs involved is 3.29 kilogrammes of aslurry containing 2.16 kilogrammes of cocaine.
These drugs were imported into Hong Kong. All things considered, I adopt a starting point of 24 years, enhanced it by 2 years, making a total of 26 years’ imprisonment.
Having taken into account everything urged on your behalf, I shall give you the full one-third discount, thereby reducing the starting point to one of 17 years and 4 months’ imprisonment. You are therefore sentenced to 17 years and 4 months’ imprisonment.
