REASONS FOR SENTENCE

---------------------

1.Now, in respect of the partial consumption by you, as raised by counsel on your behalf, I have considered all the circumstances of the case.  I rule that all the amount of the dangerous drugs was for the purpose of trafficking.

2.I am going to sentence you on the basis of trafficking 2.82 grammes of heroin.

3.Having considered the tariff as set down by the case of Lau Tak Ming, I adopt a starting point of 2 years plus 3 months’ imprisonment. On your guilty plea, it is reduced to 18 months’ imprisonment.
