This is an appeal of the defendant, Himanshu Girdhar Dua, against the refusal to set aside a default judgment entered on 10 July 2012, in which it was adjudged that he is liable to pay the 1 st plaintiff, Dawn Jade Limited, US$400,000 and the 2 nd plaintiff, Gao Fu Holdings Limited, US$600,000. His application was dismissed by Master De Souza on 29 August 2013. His appeal against the master’s decision was dismissed by Chung J on 10 December 2013.
