The applicant pleaded guilty before a magistrate to a charge of Trafficking in a dangerous drug, namely 2,157.8 grammes of a crystalline solid containing 2,077.1 grammes of methamphetamine hydrochloride (commonly known as “Ice”), contrary to section 4(1)(a) and (3) of the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, Cap 134, as a result of which she was committed for sentence to the High Court.
