___________________ JUDGMENT ___________________ Hon Lam VP (giving the Judgment of the Court): 1.By a judgment handed down on 7 August 2018 ([2018] HKCA 477), this Court (Cheung CJHC as he then was, Lam VP and Chu JA) refused to grant leave under Section 14AA of the High Court Ordinance to the applicant to appeal against the decision of Deputy High Court Judge Woodcock dated 11 April 2018 refusing to extend time for her to bring an application for judicial review. 2.On 10 September 2018, the applicant filed a notice of motion applying for leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal against the said judgment. Although she was directed to do so in accordance with Practice Direction 2.1, the applicant did not lodge any written submission in support of the notice of motion. 3.Section 14AB of the High Court Ordinance (Cap 4) provides that no appeal shall lie from a decision of the Court of Appeal as to whether or not leave to appeal to it should be granted under Section 14AA. 4.Accordingly, the applicant cannot appeal against this Court’s refusal of leave to appeal against the judge’s decision. 5.For these reasons, the notice of motion dated 10 September 2018 is dismissed.
