1. The applicant, who was the 2 nd defendant in the trial below, was jointly charged with the 1 st and 3 rd defendants (D1 and D3), with the offence of conspiracy to obtain property by deception, contrary to section 17(1) of the Theft Ordinance, Cap 210 and sections 159A and 159C of the Crimes Ordinance, Cap 200.
