1. At around 7 pm on 13 Feb 2017, while the plaintiff was going down a slippery staircase of the 8 th (top) floor ( the Floor ) of an old building in Shanghai Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon ( the Building ), he slipped and fell and injured his left ankle ( the Accident ). He began this action in Mar 2018 to recover damages from the defendant owner and occupier of the Floor.
