1. The trial of this action was originally scheduled to commence on 6 July 2020. On that day, the Defendant ( “the Defendant” / “Lau” ) did not enter an appearance and the Plaintiff’s solicitors had come off the record. Ms Low Siew Fong ( “Ms Low” ), the registered director of the Plaintiff, did not have leave to represent it at the trial.
