The court considered whether proceeds from refinancing the matrimonial home should be added back to family assets. The court found no evidence of wanton dissipation by the respondent. The court found the petitioner concealed savings of HK$375,000 during the marriage. The court ruled the net matrimonial assets of HK$1,800,000 should be split equally, reduced by the concealed amount. The respondent was ordered to pay the petitioner HK$525,000.
