There are before the court two security for costs applications by (i) the 1 st and 2 nd Defendants (“AFIL” and “Chan”) against the Plaintiff (“Mayer BVI”) in HCCL 2/2016 and (ii) the 3 rd and 4 th Defendants (Chan and “Ku”) by Counterclaim against the Plaintiff by Counterclaim (“Lai”) in HCCL 17/2016 (formerly HCA 686/2012). The application in HCCL 2/2016 is for additional security.
