Please note that the following corrigenda in the Decision dated 16 July 2024:-
1.At page 6, paragraph 19 should read:
“… the central issue identified by Mr Mak is whether the plaintiff or the 1st defendant is entitled to …”
2.At page 6, paragraph 20 should read:
“The present action was commenced in 2014 and still has not yet been set down for trial.”
3.At page 9, paragraph 27(4) should read:
“…Her explanation about, as opposed to her actual personal knowledge of, the local custom is inadmissible, irrelevant and of no probative value.”
4.At page 12, paragraph 37 should read:
“However, the competence of Madam Tang Yin has never been an issue, as confirmed by Mr Wong …”
