This is the Plaintiff’s application for leave to appeal against the judgment of this Court dated 2 October 2024 (“ the CA Judgment ”), whereby the Court dismissed the Plaintiff’s appeal against the order of G Lam JA (sitting as an additional judge of the Court of First Instance) dated 7 April 2022 setting aside the registration of a Mainland judgment obtained by the Plaintiff against the Defendant under the Mainland Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement) Ordinance, Cap 597 (“ the Ordinance ”).
