Please note the following amendments to the Judgment on Assessment of Damages dated 11 December 2024:-

1.At page 4, paragraph 8, lines B and C, “7/1/2021 Judgment” should read “14/1/2022 Judgment”

2.At page 38, paragraph 117, between lines M and N, “18.89 years” should read “19.89 years”

3.At page 38, paragraph 117, between lines N and O, “… would be between of 14.53 and 15.17, and hence 15.1” should read “… would be between 15.78 and 15.17, and hence 15.71”

4.At page 38, paragraph 118, line T, “… the Mother’s future loss of dependency will be HK$3,763 x 115.8% x 12 x 15.1 = say HK$789,589” should read “… the Mother’s future loss of dependency will be HK$3,763 x 115.8% x 12 x 15.71 = say HK$821,486”

5.At page 61, paragraph 1813, between lines E and F at the last row of the table, “JFO” should be removed from “Mid-2023 – present JFO”.
