This action concerns the estate of the late Mr Lim Por Yen (林百欣) (“ Mr Lim ”), the founder and controlling shareholder of the Lai Sun Group (麗新集團), a group of listed companies including Lai Sun Development, Lai Sun Garment, Lai Fung Holdings and Lai Sun Hotels.  Mr Lim died in Hong Kong on 18 February 2005 aged 90.
