The Applicant is a 43-year-old national of Vietnam who had previously twice entered Hong Kong illegally and was subsequently repatriated to his home country again did so on 27 May 2019 and was subsequently arrested by police on 3 December 2019 for illegal entry and possession of a forged identity card, and for which he was convicted and sentenced to prison for 15 months.
