1. The Appellant was charged with one count of possession of a forged travel document, contrary to s. 42(2)(c)(i) of the Immigration Ordinance, Cap. 115 of the Laws of Hong Kong. The particulars of the offence were that, on 23 January 2024, in Hong Kong, he had in his possession a forged travel document, namely, a forged Pakistani passport bearing number GL5167662 in the name of the Appellant. The Appellant pleaded not guilty, was convicted after trial and sentenced to 22 months’ imprisonment. T
