On the 17th November 1997, the Appellant, a man in his late 20's, was convicted after trial by K. A. Browne, Esquire sitting in the Magistrate's Court at North Kowloon on one charge of trafficking in dangerous drugs. A background report was called for; and on 8th December 1997, he was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. 2. He now appeals against his conviction and has set out his grounds of appeal in a statement attached to the pro-forma Notice of Appeal. 3. The Magistrate has prepared a very detailed Statement of Findings. Having considered all the evidence and the grounds advanced by the Appellant, I propose to say no more than that I am fully satisfied of the propriety of the conviction. 4. The appeal is dismissed.
