I have before me an application for writ of habeas corpus by the Applicant filed on 12 March 2026 seeking his release from Tai Tam Gap Correctional Institution (“TGCI”) where he is currently being detained (“the Application”). He has been detained since 7 July 2025 making the period of detention to date is 338 days (“the Detention”).
