1. On 3 June 2002, I made a winding-up order against King Pacific International Holdings Limited ("the Company") upon the petition of Goodragon Limited on the ground that the Company is unable to pay its debts. On 14 June 2002, the Company filed a Notice of Appeal against the winding-up order. On 24 June 2002, the Company issued a summons under O. 59 r13 of the Rules of the High Court and/or the inherent jurisdiction of the court, seeking a stay of the winding-up order pending appeal.
