J U D G M E N T

1.The petitioner in this matter is Messrs Y T Wong & Co. and the debtor is a solicitor. The petition is founded on a judgment debt in the sum of HK$187,306.79 being orders for costs made against the debtor in HCMP No. 761 of 2001 on 3 April 2001, 8 June 2001 and 13 September 2001.

2.A first statutory demand was served on the debtor personally on 17 July 2001 and a second statutory demand was served on her personally on 18 October 2001. The petition herein was filed on 13 October 2001 and served on the debtor personally on 21 November 2001.

3.When the matter first came before me on 4 February 2002, I had adjourned the hearing for 4 weeks to give the debtor the final opportunity to pay. No payment has since been made by the debtor. In the circumstances, I make a bankruptcy order with costs to the petitioner.
