On the 22nd July 1977 an accident occurred on Clearwater Bay Road when a Fiat 850 sports car driven by Mr. Wong Yung Kit and owned by Mr. Wai Kwok Chuen collided with metal railings that had been set by the appropriate authority round a sharp bend in the road.
