The applicant was convicted of three counts relating to aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring a person to make a false representation to an Immigration Officer, contrary to s.89 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, Cap. 221 and s.42(1)(a) of the Immigration Ordinance, Cap. 115. This was after a trial in the District Court before H.H. Judge C. Chan.
