There are two actions before me between Hong Kong Cable Television Limited (“Hong Kong Cable”) as plaintiff on the one hand, and Television Broadcasts Limited (“TVB”) and Galaxy Satellite Broadcasting Limited (“Galaxy”) as the defendants on the other hand. The first action is HCA1171/2005, begun on 21 June 2005 (“the 1 st action”). The second action, commenced on 30 June 2005, is HCA 1256/2005 (“the 2 nd action”).
