1. In this probate action, the plaintiff, Lisa Poncet, claims to be the natural daughter of the late Oscar Wong. Oscar Wong died intestate on 12 March 2002. He never married during his lifetime. The plaintiff claims to be Oscar Wong’s only natural daughter and therefore she is entitled to the grant of letters of administration of his estate and to succeed to his residuary estate: Intestates’ Estates Ordinance (Cap 73), section 4(5).
