1. The Appellant seeks leave to appeal against the sentence of 18 months imprisonment imposed upon him for the theft of 84 batches, each of 400 Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank shares, from his employer, the Tung Shing Securities Co. Ltd. The shares were found to be missing on the 16th February 1987 and on the 20th March, an unknown person delivered 44 of those batches for transfer of ownership.
