This is an application by the liquidators of Akai Holdings Limited (“Akai”) and Kong Wah Holdings Limited (“Kong Wah”) (collectively “the Companies”) against The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (“HSBC”) under section 221 of the Companies Ordinance, Cap. 32. The summonses in each of the proceedings were issued on 2 May 2007.
