1. The plaintiff and the defendant were the shareholders of a limited company called L&W Medical Company Limited. By an agreement executed in April 2007, both parties agreed that the defendant agree to purchase back from the plaintiff his 10 % share of L&W Medical Company, which the plaintiff owned for $500,000. The defendant was to pay $100,000 at the signing of the agreement, $200,000 before the end of June 2007 and the remaining $200,000 before the end of July 2007.
