The Judge believed his evidence that the applicant was a member of the group who assaulted him with knives. 2.Nothing which the applicant has put forward in his grounds suggest that the Judge was in error or that the conviction was in any way unsafe or unsatisfactory. 3.The attack was a vicious one with knives and fully merited the 3-year sentence which was imposed. 4.Both applications for leave to appeal against conviction and sentence are dismissed.
