1. The parties [I shall refer to them as “the husband” and “the wife”] were married in Hong Kong on 1 st September 1970. By her petition dated 19 th August 1971 the wife seeks a decree of judicial separation on the ground that the husband has since the celebration of the marriage treated her with cruelty.
