1. Defendant, you have pleaded guilty to a single charge of theft, contrary to section 9 of the Theft Ordinance, Cap.210, Laws of Hong Kong, the particulars being that on 18 October of last year at the Lai Wan Market in Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, you stole a wrist chain belonging to a Madam Sung Yu-ying.
