These proceedings arose from a slip and fall accident that the plaintiff suffered near the third party’s seafood stall on 30 March 2010 at the Lei Tung Market, Lei Tung Estate, Ap Lei Chau, Hong Kong (the “Market”). The claim by the plaintiff against the defendant was settled through mediation shortly before this trial. The defendant now seeks an indemnity and/or contribution from the third party.
